A $20 donation to support the mission of GTOC will open up a dozen full size images revealing the beauty and diversity of Chatham County’s naturescapes, flora and fauna. Look for the cover photo featuring a large yellow swallowtail butterfly on purple lilacs. Inside, a mother goose shelters goslings under her wing, and three red shouldered hawks are ready to fledge from their nest high atop a white oak. There are great egrets at Robeson Creek and Jordan Lake, and a gorgeous male bluebird bigger than life. You’ll find spring magnolia blossoms and winter holly berries, as well as various scenes along the Haw River.
